Duties:
* Ensure that children are central to the assessment of their needs and any plans to support them.
* Ensure that the voice of the child or young person is heard and that their rights and responsibilities are being championed.
* Organise and facilitate a range of meetings to meet statutory obligations under the Children Act 1989 and Working Together 2023.
* Support and challenge operational practice to ensure outcomes for children are achieved.
Requirements of the Social Work Quality Assurance Reviewing Officers:
* Degree or equivalent in social work
* Current Social Work England registration
* Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK as a qualified Social Worker
* Ability to establish professional, effective working relationships with a range of partners, individuals, families, and their carers.
