TheRotherham NHS Foundation Trust Pharmacy Department is seeking an exceptionalcandidate to join the team as an apprentice pre-registration Pharmacy Technician.If you have a keen interest in maths and science and wish to undertake furtherstudies, and you would like the opportunity to work towards a Level 3 inPharmacy Service Skills and qualify as a Pharmacy Technician. You may beinterested in a two year apprenticeship style training scheme which isavailable at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.

Successful candidates will attend College on a day release basis to undertake aBTEC Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or current registrableequivalent whilst training in the workplace 4 days per week to obtain and provecompetence in the Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills.
Main duties of the job
Thepost offers 2 years comprehensive training in all aspects of Pharmacy serviceson a rotational basis.
Individuals will need to be highly organised and motivated and be capable ofmeeting multiple deadlines. We will expect applicants to have an understandingof the role of a Pharmacy Technician.
Students who successfully complete the 2 year course and associated study willbe eligible to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the GeneralPharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
To be eligible for consideration for a Pre-Registration Trainee PharmacyTechnician interview, you must meet all essential criteria and have:
1. 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 or grade C or above (or equivalent*), including English,Maths and double Science*
2. Applicants MUST have the required minimum qualifications and will be asked tobring original certificates to interview (predicted grades for school leaverson official letter headed school/college paper).
