Job Description
An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Public Area Attendant to join the Rooms Department at Raffles London at the OWO.
Reporting into Senior Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and orderly presentation of assigned public areas and maintaining a positive overall impression of the hotel according to the Raffles London procedures and standards.
Supporting and working closely with the Senior Housekeeper and the Assistant Executive Housekeeper overseeing all aspects of public areas cleaning on the front & back of the hotel and the residences.
You will work in close contact with other departments throughout the Hotel and the Residences to ensure a smooth and consistent service, surpassing the guests’ expectations.
Specifically, as the Public Area Attendant your responsibility’s will include:
* To follow the daily task list of maintaining the Hotel and the Residence public areas.
* Being intuitive by adapting the frequency of cleaning according to the number of guests in public areas.
* to Keep yourself informed about the events, the occupancy, and the outlet bookings at the beginning of and during your shift.
* To communicate well within the team and other departments across the hotel.
* To ensure high quality cleaning services of the Hotel and the Residence public areas.
* To use the appropriate cleaning chemicals on all surfaces as per the Raffles SOPs.
* To maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
* To report any loss/damage to linen, furniture, fixtures, or equipment in Knowcross and ensure the follow up with the Housekeeping Department.
* To perform all duties with care towards our guests always ensuring upmost guest satisfaction in timely manner.
* To have a great knowledge of the Hotel and the Residence facilities including the opening hours of all hotel outlets.
* To report any lost property found in the public areas to the Security Department.
* Be part of the daily line-up departmental meeting.
* Always well-groomed according to the Raffles London grooming guidelines.
* Be flexible according to the business needs.

* Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
* An understanding and willingness to contribute to a 24h operational schedule when required. Able to work within a team.
