Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting for an interim Group Reporting Manager for a large leasing company based in London for a 9 month contract.
Financial Reporting
1. Produce Group's monthly management accounts in line with accounting policies and support all audit trails in a timely and accurate manner
2. Prepare Group's financial statements and disclosures for Annual and Interim Reports ensuring all relevant IFRS standards, reconciliations and controls are adhered to
3. Produce monthly analytical review, scrutinising and explaining year-on-year movements in the Group income statement and balance sheet
4. Produce monthly Group profit flash with informative commentary
5. Manage preparation of revenue recognition models for Service Costs and for Insurance Services
6. Manage preparation of service costs and other accruals and prepayments as part of production of the monthly management accounts
7. Own the Group consolidation model and chart of accounts, updating both as and when required
8. Attend and contribute to various forums as the finance representative; provide updates on financials reported in the management accounts and analysis, and explanation of variances to budget
Taxation
9. Support the Group's capital allowances model and preparation of tax workings, forecasts and payments
10. Support preparation of the Group's deferred tax model and forecasts
11. Support the Group Payment Arrangements including corporation tax payments
12. Oversee the preparation and filing of the annual corporation tax returns with assistance from external advisors
13. Ensure Group tax compliance including CT, VAT, Payroll and other taxes, and assist with liaison with HMRC.
