Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Billings Analyst to join their team in Manchester. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the credit and collections process, ensuring the financial health of the organisation. This includes managing customer accounts, mitigating credit risk, and ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices. As a Billings Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the credit control process for our client's entity. Your day-to-day tasks will involve monitoring customer accounts, managing credit insurance activities, and proactively collecting outstanding debts. You will also be tasked with regularly reconciling customer accounts, preparing regular reports on account statuses, collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth credit control process, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and potential risks. Manage credit insurance activities, including customer credit limits, turnover declarations and all claims processes. Proactively manage and collect outstanding debts from customers. Regularly reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy. Prepare regular reports on account statuses, collections activities and credit risk. Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to resolve payment issues. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding credit and collections.
