Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager, to support our CDMO facility based at Keele, Staffordshire. The Project Manager will assist with the management of project portfolios, enquiries from customers regarding completed projects and generate contract variations. The successful candidate will report directly to the Associate Director of Supply Chain and Project Management.
This role is full time onsite and some travelling to other sites/our clients will be required.
Profile and Requirements
Main duties and responsibilities will include but aren't limited to:
* Working with the technical and sales team in order to write and present customer proposals.
* Acting as the primary interface with the customer for all issues relating to project delivery.
* Managing the delivery process to ensure project deliverables are achieved within agreed timelines and budgets.
* Determining the priorities within the project portfolio in order to maximise revenue and profit.
* Identify and evaluate risks and timelines for projects and manage any required changes and alterations with the client and the business.
* Using appropriate planning tools to manage project activity and to ensure visibility to the project team and to provide detailed project planning and resource information to the business.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a Science degree or equivalent qualification, be commercially aware and have gained previous experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects working within a bio-pharmaceutical company.
You will be familiar with cGMP, drug development and regulatory process and also have gained previous exposure to the development/manufacture of virus and/or protein, DNA and cell-line products either through direct work experience or relevant project/account management activities.
You will be expected to interact at all levels of Charles River and should be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
The ability to work effectively and efficiently, to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a strong eye for attention to detail is a must.
