We have an exciting opportunity for a Deployment Manager to join our digital team in Compass Group UK&I. Reporting to the Lead Digital Deployment Manager and aligned to the sector Head of Specialist Projects, you will be responsible for all digital deployments across Business & Industry. You will be the lead advocate for our award-winning digital restaurant solutions, bringing together app, POS, kiosks, AI tray scanning, and many more features under our own Time2Eat brand. You will work with some of the most prestigious client brands and locations across the UK. Engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-sector operations teams, you will determine & advise on the best digital solutions that excite our customers, driving efficiency & profitability.
As a “mobile worker,” there is a requirement to visit B&I sites and office locations across the UK&I. You will also be expected to attend the office a minimum of one day per week. You will oversee, plan and lead multi-site mobilisations ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and deliver to actions and timescale. You will also work closely with our third-party providers to ensure all deployments are scalable, agile, and delivered at pace.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead SME on deployment of all Compass UK&I digital restaurant omni channel solutions and their capability, application, and usage across Business & Industry.
2. Work with sector leads, unit mobilisation and operation teams to problem solve and interpret business needs, delivering digital solutions that enhance the customer experience.
3. Identify and recommend “best fit” digital solutions for the businesses operating model.
4. Accountable for the delivery of all digital deployments in sector, ensuring all projects are delivered to plan and managing risks.
5. Act as senior lead/PM on large or complex mobilisations, setting clear objectives and ensuring responsibilities are understood.
6. Maintain all central mobilisation and roll out plans, supporting the Head of Deployment with reporting requirements.
7. Develop and build processes enabling faster, more agile deployments of our restaurant solutions.
8. Support day-to-day management and upkeep of our electronic onboarding portal.
9. Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure all product enhancements are embedded in new and existing deployments.
10. Act as the gatekeeper for sector operations, managing relationships and overseeing communication processes.
11. Manage relationships with third-party suppliers to support mobilisations, planning installations, and overseeing costs.
12. Work with culinary & marketing teams to ensure our digital proposition excites customers, advising on promotional opportunities.
13. Collaborate with Sector Leads to promote omni-channel products and support sites with poor performance and low digital adoption.
Experience required:
1. Track record in mobilisations and stakeholder management at senior levels.
2. Proven operational mobilisation experience - hands on and dynamic.
3. Experience in Digital Transformation Projects.
4. Experienced in App or Digital Product development/implementation.
5. Project management skills with relevant experience & qualification.
6. Good knowledge of MS Project and associated tools and processes.
7. Ability to build rapport and lead a team to success, being a great team player.
8. Strong presentation & interpersonal skills.
