Our client based in Barnwood, Gloucester is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their Accounts Team on a permanent basis. This a great opportunity to join a well-established business within the local area in a busy, hands-on role. The successful candidate will be dealing with a wide range of retail customers from small independents to multi-national organisations. Responsibilities/Duties; - Mange and oversee customer debt. - Communicating with customers via phone and email. - Ensure customer account information is accurate and current. - Cultivate and maintain B2B relationships with customers. - General administration. - Once payment is received, release accounts on hold. - Collaborating with area sales representatives and other departments to resolve queries. - Addressing customer complaints by gathering details and offering potential solutions. - Opening and closing customer accounts. - Processing daily payment allocations and refunds. - Releasing pro-forma orders upon account payment. - Updating ledgers with information on hold queries. - Sending monthly unpaid invoice reports to the Accounts Manager. Candidate Attributes; - Credit control experience - Excellent customer service experience. - Can-do attitude. - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to work well in a team. Hours- Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week Salary - Up to £30,500 benefits including company bonus, gifted Christmas shut down, free parking, free breakfast, and gym on site
