Ensure the following are kept clean and tidy to a very high standard: Floors & Walls Bins – inside and out Crushing and disposal of cardboard and boxes Fridges & Freezers (with assistance from chefs) Delivery areas Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas. Transport provisions, equipment and other catering related items as required. Adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene, and COSHH regulations governing your work, ensuring the correct chemicals/detergents are always used. Report all accidents (and near misses) to the Chef. Report any shortages in equipment or chemicals to the Supervisor. Ensure that all food is prepared in the environment with due care and attention particularly in regard to customers special dietary requirements; for example, nut, dairy or wheat allergies. What You Bring: Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others. Basic food-handling skills. Ability to lift heavy items and work in a standing position for long periods (up to 8 hours). No previous work experience required.
