Role Summary
The Analyst will be responsible to provide the highest service level & support to investors in CG’s Funds either directly or indirectly via the outsourced transfer agency. Leads the onboarding of new investors, including supporting transfer agency account opening and coordinating the drafting & negotiation of relevant legal agreements. Oversees the outsourced transfer agency provider(s) ensuring they are adhering to expected SLAs and deliverables. Assisting the CASS officer in maintaining an effective Client Money oversight framework.
Primary responsibilities
1. Monitors quality of service delivery by external service providers, with respect to key regulatory & operational requirements applying to UK OEICs (including CASS) & Luxembourg SICAVs.
2. Provides high level of service to existing and prospective investors as well as internal clients, including responding to general queries in a timely manner.
3. Directing new investor on-boarding including coordinating the drafting, negotiation and signature of legal agreements, completion of AML requirements and supporting account opening.
4. Monitors and manages investors’ dealing activity, including communicating and coordinating with other relevant departments.
5. Participates actively as a subject matter expert or project manager on global initiatives or assigned projects.
6. Ability to manage complex issues by being solution oriented and escalating/informing manager and/or CASS Officer.
7. Comfortable in documenting processes, business cases or statements for project related requests including collating packs, management information and minutes.
Qualifications
1. 3 - 5 years experience of working within an asset management company with experience of UK domiciled fund offerings, in a transfer agency oversight and/or investor support function.
2. Understanding of FCA CASS rules ideally with operational knowledge/experience of CASS oversight.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and effective in communicating with colleagues, counterparties and clients.
4. Strict attention to detail, execution accuracy and high service quality orientation.
5. A highly-organized, self-driven and committed team player with strict attention to detail, execution accuracy and intellectual curiosity to learn and expand knowledge.
6. Continuous improvement mindset.
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
