Welfare and Attendance Officer
Contract type: Permanent
Work pattern: 30 - 36 hours per week (negotiable to suit candidate needs), Term time only (38 weeks)
Salary information: Scale 5, £22,085 - £27,685 per annum (depending on experience)
Further salary information: Please note, the advertised salary range is based upon the work pattern and is subject to change dependent upon the hours worked.
Hours of work: Monday - Friday start each day at 8:30am with flexible hours across the week (to suit candidate and agreed with the school) with half an hour lunch break
Start date: Mid December 2024 / January 2025
We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and supportive member of staff to join our team. Cherry Lane Primary School is a vibrant, warm and caring school.
We are looking for a professional person who:
* Is responsible for the welfare and first aid care of our pupils.
* Is responsible monitoring pupil attendance and administering our associated procedures.
* Has excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, parents and outside agencies.
* Is a confident administrator with good IT skills (Word, Excel) and able to carry out a variety of tasks.
* Has a willingness to contribute to the overall ethos and aims of our school.
You will be joining a friendly team who work hard and value people. We offer support and professional development for all staff.
There is daily welfare cover in place during afternoons to allow for dedicated attendance tasks. For the suitable candidate there may be opportunities for some working from home, as agreed with the school.
