About the Role
We’re looking for an Ecommerce Executive to join our growing team. This role is initially to cover maternity leave, with the potential for it to become permanent depending on the growth of our D2C channels and the overall expansion of the business during the year.
This is a primarily administrative role, ideal for someone with a solid understanding of Amazon operations (Vendor and Seller) and familiarity and interest with the beauty industry in both the UK and international markets.
You will work closely with the Ecommerce Manager and the current Ecommerce Executive, who will be going on maternity leave in May 2025. You’ll also have the support of a dedicated marketing team, external marketing agencies, and an Amazon agency.
This position is perfect for someone who is creative, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using various ecommerce tools and platforms.
Role & Responsibilities
* Manage ecommerce operations across platforms (Amazon, TikTok, eBay, Superdrug Marketplace).
* Track sales performance and ecommerce metrics to optimise growth.
* Process vendor orders, invoices, and ensure accurate stock reconciliation.
* Monitor and maintain account health, including managing customer feedback and resolving issues.
* Update product listings and collaborate with marketing to launch promotions and campaigns.
* Work with advertising agencies to optimise performance and conversion rates.
* Ensure smooth order fulfilment and stock availability across platforms.
* Analyse fees, margins, and ensure business targets are met.
* Handle ad hoc tasks such as storefront updates, content optimisation, and promotional coordination.
* Address restricted product issues, copyright concerns, and compliance matters.
* This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in ecommerce platforms to drive online sales and account performance.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: Approximately 2-3 years of experience in ecommerce, with a strong focus on Amazon (Vendor and Seller) and D2C platforms like Shopify.
* Industry Knowledge: A good understanding of the beauty/skincare market in the UK and internationally.
* Skills: Highly organised with excellent attention to detail; proficient in Excel and ecommerce & finance tools/software.
* Team Player: Comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams, external agencies, and suppliers.
* Adaptability: Ability to manage a wide variety of tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
