Description We are currently seeking a detail orientated IT Services Administration Assistant to deliver administrative and customer services to support existing systems and processes for IT Services at Bath Spa University About the Role As our IT Services Administration Assistant, you will provide vital administrative support to our IT Services team. You will manage user/device tasks, maintain IT documentation, and ensure smooth financial administration, including invoice coding and expense processing. Your role will involve supporting meetings and events, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes. You’ll also handle exception reports, process service requests, and liaise with external stakeholders. You will use your own initiative and judgment to solve problems, seeking advice when needed. Working with the IT Service Desk and Change and Transition teams, you will enhance the knowledge base and deliver excellent customer service whilst maintaining flexibility in the role. About You The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to confidently engage with people at all levels. You will need excellent organisational and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach. You will have a strong attention to detail and enjoy problem-solving, with a natural urge to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks, whilst understanding confidentiality and Data Protection Regulations. You will be capable of working independently or as part of a team, with excellent IT skills and the ability to follow established guidelines and procedures. Additional Information Salary: Grade 4, £26,338 to 28,381 per annum Interview date: 3rd February Please note that as of April 2024, there has been a change in the UK’s sponsorship threshold.
