Job Duties:
The Year 4 Teaching Assistant will support students in Skelmersdale, working closely with the class teacher to deliver educational activities, provide individualised assistance, and maintain a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
* A relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience
* Thorough understanding of the UK education system
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively with a team
* Prior experience working with primary school students
Education:
Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Familiarity with British curriculum standards for Year 4
* Adaptable teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
* Strong organisational skills
* Effective classroom management abilities
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary full-time position based in Skelmersdale. The role may involve close interaction with students, adherence to school policies and procedures, and collaboration with teaching staff to support student learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
