We are representing a prestigious and well-established law firm in their search for a polished and professional Receptionist to join their Exeter office. This full-time, permanent opportunity with exceptional employee benefits. The role is based fully on-site, with core working hours from 09:30 to 17:30 and some flexibility required to support events or shift cover (reception operates from 08:00 to 17:30)
The Role
As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the Receptionist will play a key role in delivering a warm, professional welcome and ensuring the smooth operation of the front-of-house experience. Key Responsibilities of the Receptionist:
* Provide a professional and welcoming reception service to clients, partners, and staff.
* Handle incoming calls, redirecting as appropriate or taking clear, accurate messages.
* Prepare and maintain meeting rooms, including AV setup and catering support.
* Assist with general office administration, travel bookings, and occasional event support.
Key Requirements of the Receptionist:
* Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role (legal background not essential).
* Exceptional communication skills and a warm, professional manner.
* Ability to work independently, with initiative and a flexible, can-do attitude.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, maintaining a high standard of presentation.
