The role will report to the Head of Treasury Management within the Finance, Commercial, Sustainability and Property directorate and will work closely with other functional areas within Finance, the wider Agency and cross Government.
This is an exciting role within the Insolvency Service which will require you to build a network of contacts to ensure the monthly cash forecasts for each of the Agency's bank accounts represent a true reflection of the likely cash position.
The Treasury Management officer is responsible for all internal and external cash forecasting and treasury management duties.

Responsibilities
As B2 Treasury Management Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Daily cash and liquidity management ensuring sufficient cash flow to meet operational needs.
* Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts to ensure accuracy and timely reporting used to invoice funding partners.
* The completion and submission of the Agency monthly and annual cash forecasting to DBT and HMT.
* The analysis of outturn and historic data to look for patterns and trends.
* Working closely with colleagues across the Agency to resolve issues that may affect the forecast, cash flow and liquidity requirements.
* Reviewing the current cash forecasting process with a view to making improvements.
* Daily review of the Agency’s bank account balances and transactions.
* Updating of monthly reporting performance actuals for FCSP SLT Performance & Risk Leadership Forum.
* Providing advice and subject matter expertise to the wider Agency on matters of Treasury Management.
* Undertake other duties in support of the wider Finance community as required.
