Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAM) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair’s entire fleet of Boeing 737 NG & Max series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.
Applications for our 2025 B1, B2, and Structures apprenticeships are now being received.
At Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Limited (PAML), we offer an exceptional Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship, which has been designed to provide hands-on experience, industry-leading training, and a clear path to a rewarding career in aviation maintenance.
The programme is a structured 3/4-year program which combines on-the-job training with classroom learning.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gain practical skills while working under the supervision of Licensed Engineers on live aircraft.
You will attend Ayrshire College for the theoretical licensed engineer modules and apprentice SVQ course.
Requirements
Entry Requirements: Scottish Highers in Physics and Mathematics are highly recommended. Consideration will be given to candidates with an appropriate Engineering certificate.
Entry Requirements: Scottish National 5’s in Physics and Mathematics are highly recommended. Consideration will be given to candidates with an appropriate Engineering certificate, PEO Engineering ops.
Skills and Attitude: An interest in engineering and problem-solving. Strong work ethic, curiosity, and a commitment to mastering complex concepts.
N.B. Candidates must be aged 18 years of age by the first of October 2024.
