Job Summary: The Associate Director, Credit & Asset Management will support the Senior Director in managing a portfolio of CRE (Commercial Real Estate) warehouse loans secured by UK and European commercial real estate investments for an institutional client. The Associate Director will collaborate with the client's in-house asset management and legal teams, reviewing finance documents before loan closing and throughout the loan's duration. The Associate Director will serve as a point of contact for day-to-day loan management and assist with creating financial models, tracking deliverables, and managing significant loan events. Responsibilities: Support the Senior Director in managing a portfolio of CRE warehouse loans secured by UK and European real estate investments. Collaborate with the client’s in-house asset management and legal teams, reviewing finance documents throughout the loan lifecycle. Provide ongoing support to the Senior Director and the client’s origination team as needed. Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day management of each warehouse loan. Assist in creating financial models, tracking deliverables, and managing significant loan events as outlined in finance documents. Liaise with borrowers, facility agents, and representatives to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Help review waiver and modification requests, analyze impacts, and prepare recommendations for the client’s credit team. Review draft transfers, waterfalls, and calculations for accuracy. Coordinate with third-party advisors, borrowers, and lenders on drawdowns and funding recommendations. Produce internal quarterly and ad-hoc reports using client templates and systems. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field preferred. 5 years of experience in loan management, with a focus on finance or real estate sectors. Demonstrated expertise in analyzing complex financial data and creating detailed reports. Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling. Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills, capable of effectively conveying complex information to diverse audiences. Collaborative team player, able to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and external partners. Resilient and determined, able to maintain focus and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
