About the Lymphoedema Therapist role You'll join a dedicated team in our Medical Services Practice, where you'll support clients with Lymphoedema therapy and associated conditions. You'll be responsible for providing assessment, treatment and education to clients, ensuring they receive high quality and holistic care as part of our unique multi-disciplinary service. Reporting to the Senior Lymphoedema Therapist, this is an ongoing part-time or full-time role. Your Passion and Commitment will see you: Provide high quality lymphoedema therapy according to ALA guidelines, including assessment, treatment and education. Assess other comorbidities that may impact on the treat of lymphoedema. Work with colleagues and specialist services to provide multidisciplinary care planning for clients. Maintain client records, documentation and reporting. To succeed in this role you will have: A relevant qualification/s in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or a related discipline. Completion of Lymphoedema Training Course (at least Level 1, with intention to undertake Level 2). Current AHPRA Registration and eligibility for membership with National Lymphoedema Practitioners Register. Applied knowledge, experience and skills in Lymphoedema therapy. Understanding of the social model of health and a sensitivity to the needs of marginalised people.
