Personnel and Security Vetting Manager
Please note that for this role, candidates must be willing and able to obtain a UK Security Clearance (SC).

In this role, you will be responsible to the Board of Directors for the strategic development of an effective personnel security culture within the company and the day-to-day management and delivery of personnel security policy, procedures, risk assessment, management and general security processes.
Some of your key responsibilities will be to:
* Establish and oversee the organisation's approach to Personnel Security, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Government standards.
* Facilitate visits and inspections by representatives of the Government or Contracting Authority, ensuring relevant documentation is available.
* Interpret, implement and monitor security controls for personnel security for National Security Vetted staff.
* Undertake aftercare responsibilities for individuals within the company's network to ensure compliance with current regulations and guidance.
* Ensure the Board and senior managers are aware of their security obligations regarding personnel security risks and controls.
* Own and maintain a personnel security Risk Register, documenting and monitoring risks.
* Take ownership of all personnel security incidents/breaches, ensuring they are managed appropriately.
* Report incidents or changes affecting an individual's ability to hold an NSV clearance to UKSV.
* Advise management on the interpretation and implementation of security controls.
* Ensure processes are in place for briefing/de-briefing Security Check (SC) and Developed Vetting (DV) cleared staff traveling abroad.
* Contribute to strategic plans that support the company's business strategy and capabilities.
* Coordinate planning of security controls for new contracts or personnel security elements during mergers or buy-outs.
* Arrange security education and awareness training for staff.
* Ensure breaches of personnel security are reported in accordance with Government requirements.
* Record outcomes of security incidents in a breaches register and provide reports to the Contracting Authority.
