About you and this role As a recent graduate, you bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team at Dow's Barry site, where you will Provides specialized technical support and solutions for project teams, operations and maintenance. Understands and implements Most Effective Technology (MET), work process, tools and industry best practices within their discipline. Your work will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our operations, supporting Dow's commitment to sustainability and excellence. Responsibilities - Ensuring that site PLC hardware meets operational needs including maintainability, failure response and resolution, lifecycle management - Ensures associated documentation is accurate and meet the needs of the business. - Contributes to project front end loading to ensure clear scope definition along with establishing plans and schedules to enable adequate control during execution. - Develops plans and procedures in line with maintenance requirements for newly installed equipment. - Ensures reliability of equipment by outlining repair and inspection strategies. Uses Site change management program. Ensures safety in design. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Strong understanding of instrumentation principles and practices. - Proficiency in using engineering software and tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills - Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and DCS (Distributed Control Systems). - Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
