In the role of Senior Labour Finance Manager, you will business partner the Premier Inn operational and central operational teams on labour cost control and delivery of future labour efficiencies and finance support on any future labour change initiative across the Premier Inn business. This will include providing the financial planning, analysis, and challenge / support on the c.£0.5bn p/a labour budget for 850 Premier Inn sites in to maximise Premier Inn’s labours operational and financial performance. Location: Dunstable, hybrid- a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Influence and challenge both operational delivery and broader financial planning inputs and labour strategies. Cost line financial management : Manage and provide financial support for the labour cost line (c.£0.5bn annually). Including owing the full planning cycle from budget, forecasting and on-going reporting. Labour model ownership ; You will own the Premier Inn Labour Model, You will be responsible for developing and running the model. This will include driving improvements in accuracy, output and governance processes. Costing savings/Operational Deliver operational efficiencies to meet our £30m labour savings target. Develop both the high-level strategies and then be comfortable in the details to update the site level models to ensure delivery. Line management : Lead direct team of 3 – 2 managers and 1 analyst and provide leadership across wider PI Ops finance team. What we need: Qualified accountant: A qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) with at least three years post-qualification experience (will consider qualified by experience) Financial Planning Processes: Experience managing multisite cost line budget processes, in-year re-forecasts and monthly performance reporting. Proven record managing and developing high performance team Commercial Acumen: Strong analytical skills. History of using analytics of operational business drivers and strong commercial judgments to influence actions and results.
