Environmental Consultant (Noise & Air)\n Location: Liverpool\n Salary : £30,000 - £35,000\n\nOur client is a leading environmental consultancy committed to providing innovative, science-led solutions to tackle environmental challenges. They currently partner with clients across various industries, including construction, transport, energy, manufacturing, and urban development.\n\nTheir services include:\n\nNoise & Vibration Assessments: Supporting developments by conducting environmental noise monitoring, building acoustics assessments, and vibration impact analyses.\nAir Quality Assessments: Modelling emissions from transport and industrial sources, assessing air quality impacts, and advising on mitigation strategies.\nEnvironmental Permitting & Compliance: Helping clients navigate complex permitting processes and comply with UK and EU environmental regulations.\nImpact Assessments: Delivering comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and Health Impact Assessments (HIAs) to support planning applications.\nSustainability Consulting: Offering guidance on renewable energy solutions, carbon footprint reduction, and sustainable design.\nTraining & Workshops: Empowering clients with knowledge of environmental best practices through tailored workshops and seminars.What You'll Do\n\nAs a Noise & Air Quality Consultant, you will:\n\nConduct noise and air quality assessments for a wide range of projects, including urban planning, transportation, and industrial developments.\nAir quality modelling using ADMS-Roads/ADMS5.\nCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional project outcomes.\nSupport business development by contributing to proposals and engaging with new clients.What We're Looking For\n\nA degree in Environmental Science, Acoustics, Atmospheric Science, or a related discipline.\nExperience in noise and/or air quality assessments (consultancy experience required).\nProficiency in using noise modelling software (e.g., CadnaA, SoundPLAN) and/or air quality tools (e.g., ADMS, AERMOD).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and client management abilities.\nKnowledge of UK environmental legislation and standards.Why Join Us?\n\nBe part of a supportive and forward-thinking team.\nWork on impactful projects that shape sustainable communities.\nEnjoy opportunities for professional growth and development.\nBenefit from a competitive salary and flexible working arrangements.\nContribute to a consultancy that values sustainability and innovation.\n\nInterested in this role or any others relating to Acoustics or Air Quality?
