Requirements of a Care Assistant:
* Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle
* Commit to attending a 4-day paid training course
* Located within a 7-mile radius of Solihull
* Have or be willing to obtain business vehicle insurance

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
* Ensuring the highest possible levels of care provision are maintained at all times
* Working closely with the Registered Manager reporting any concerns, changes or difficulties regarding clients
* Personal care by assisting clients with washing and dressing, enabling clients to maintain personal hygiene, appearance and physical comfort
* Administering medication as identified in their care plan using your comprehensive training programme
* Housekeeping, assisting with daily living tasks such as cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of their environment as well as shopping, laundry and bill paying
* Meal preparation, assisting in the preparation of meals, drinks and snacks enabling a good level of nutrition and hydration
* Taking Clients for appointments or outings
* Participate in team meetings, staff events, attend any training provided by the company and reviews as required
* Contribute to the safe moving and handling of Clients to maximise their physical abilities and mobility
Each of our Clients have a personalised care plan including a one-page profile which is tailored to their specific needs, hobbies and interests. We then accurately match our CareGivers to each Client to maximise daily interaction, this way both our Clients and CareGivers can get the most out of the time spent together.
Our service is focused on the desired outcomes of the Client; each visit should accomplish, or work towards, a key goal or activity that our Clients wish to achieve. You could be the one to make these special and important moments happen.
