Regional Sales Manager – Packaging\n\nDue to continued growth and heavy investment my client a global food machinery manufacturer is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to work within their UK team.\n\nYou will be based in your regional area (North West),\n\nFlexibility to travel throughout the UK on occasions maybe required, as well as overnight stays.\n\nThe Role\n\nYour duties and responsibilities will include:\n\n * Plan and deliver customer visits within your region\n\n * Build trust, confidence and create solutions for customer needs using technical knowledge\n\n * Monthly and annual sales targets\n\n * Accurate Quotes and Sales orders\n\n * Build strong relationships with Engineers and Head Office support\n\n * Travel is required daily\n\n * UK Sales meetings at Head Office\n\n * Travel as needed with customers and networking/ industry events, potentially overseas on occassions\n\nThe Candidate\n\nWe are looking for candidates with the following skills, experience and attributes:\n\n * Strong technical knowledge of Packaging Machinery within Food and Non-Food Manufacturing\n\n * Possibly a Field Service Engineer looking to move into sales – full training and support will be provided\n\n * Account Management and B2B Sales experience\n\n * Strong communication skills and customer service skills\n\nThe Package\n\n * Competitive salary dependant on experience\n\n * Company car with fuel card\n\n * Bupa health care plan including and dental cover\n\n * Company pension\n\nMach Recruitment is acting as a recruitment agency for this vacancy
