About the Role of Quantity Surveyor
Exciting opportunity for assistant, project, and mid-level surveyors to join a Surrey-based business with a rapidly expanding portfolio of high-end residential projects, commercial buildings, retail outlets, and more. While the head office is in Surrey, much of the work will be done on-site, with projects currently running or starting soon in Bristol, Wales, Liverpool, Poole, London, and the surrounding area. Project values range from £1 million to £30 million, so project surveyors with involvement on previous similar sites would be ideal, but extensive in-office training is offered to those with less experience.
Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:
1. Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts.
2. Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyors.
3. Managing Packages.
4. Managing Sub-Contractors and Clients.
5. Site Meetings.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
1. Ideally degree qualified and needs to be construction-based.
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
4. Fully valid UK driving license.
5. Preferably available as soon as possible or a 1-2 month notice period.
