Job Overview
Are you a Laboratory Technician looking for a fantastic opportunity to move into a new role which offers real potential for growth and development? To be considered for this role, you will ideally have proven experience working within a similar role within a quality environment. You will also be motivated, resilient, with high attention to detail and have a real interest in learning multiple disciplines within a GMP testing laboratory.
What will you be responsible for?
* Maintaining the laboratory and equipment to an exceptional level of cleanliness.
* Provide purchasing, goods receipt and release support to the QC function.
* Scanning, filing and trending of QC data including environmental monitoring.
* Provide support to QC scientists executing laboratory testing.
* Work cross-functionally with other teams and colleagues at all EBX sites.
Essential:
* Qualification in a relevant scientific discipline such as Microbiology, Molecular Biology or Chemistry.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to constantly adapt as required in alignment with compliance and business needs.
* Experience in a laboratory environment.
* Self-starter, detail-oriented, data-driven, and a team player.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and self-motivated.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Full drivers licence.
Desirable:
* Experience with working in a GMP environment advantageous.
* Experience with eQMS systems.
* Experience with procurement platforms.
* Previous laboratory technician experience.
* Access to personal vehicle for transport between sites.
