This role is vital in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our provision, supporting both staff and students, and maintaining excellent communication with parents, external agencies, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team, teachers, and support staff. Manage reception duties, including welcoming visitors and handling phone calls/emails. Maintain accurate student records, attendance registers, and safeguarding documentation. Assist with timetabling, reports, and data entry. Liaise with parents, local authorities, and external agencies to support student needs. Handle confidential information in line with GDPR and safeguarding policies. Order resources and manage office supplies. Support the coordination of meetings, training sessions, and events. Essential Requirements Previous administrative experience, ideally within an education or alternative provision setting. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality requirements. Desirable Experience working in a school, PRU (Pupil Referral Unit), or alternative education setting.
