Interim Human Resources Adviser
Location: Hybrid (Dundee office with travel to other sites as needed)
Contract: 6 months (with a possible 3-month extension)
Hours: 35 per week (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm)

About the Role
ASA are working with a public sector client who are seeking an Interim HR Adviser to support its Human Resources Business Partnering team in delivering high-quality HR advisory services. This role will be key in providing expert guidance to managers and employees on reward and remuneration, employee relations, casework, attendance management, workforce planning, and HR metrics.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert HR advice to senior managers and employees on all operational HR matters.
* Lead on assigned HR improvement projects and contribute to process enhancements.
* Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and guidance to ensure legal compliance.
* Manage casework including attendance, performance, disciplinary, and grievance issues.
* Support negotiations and collaboration with trade unions.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Degree (SCQF Level 10) in HR or equivalent experience meeting CIPD membership standards.
* Strong track record in HR case management.
* Experience in implementing HR policies and procedures.
* Ability to plan and prioritise workload effectively.
* Experience working with trade unions.
Desirable Skills:
* CIPD Membership.
* Understanding of the care sector and care service regulations.
* Experience with HR/Payroll management systems.
Additional Information
* Hybrid Working: Up to 2 days per week in the Dundee office, with occasional travel to other sites.
