To support the future growth of the Airport, LBA is looking to recruit cleaning staff. We are looking for reliable and hard-working staff, with a professional attitude who will be courteous and welcoming to both passengers and staff at the Airport. This role will be responsible for: Ensuring exceptional level of cleaning service is delivered across all areas of the Airport and to ensure all aspects of cleanliness exceed our customers’ expectations at all times. Carrying out regular cleaning patrols of airport zones around the building both inside and outside of the terminal. Reporting any cleanliness and maintenance issues to the Cleaning Team Leader. Assisting departments with their reports of cleanliness issues and attend in an acceptable time to rectify the issue. Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points. Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops. Mopping floors with brushes or dust control mops. Mopping floors with wet or damp mops. Vacuuming and suction cleaning carpeted areas. Using electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish and spray clean floors. Dusting, damp wiping, washing or polishing furniture, ledges, window sills and external surfaces. Replenishing consumable items. Cleaning washrooms, including urinals, toilets and sinks. Using chemical agents as directed by the Cleaning Team Leader in the discharge of cleaning operations or maintenance procedures, in line with COSHH. Undertaking wall washing or inside window pane cleaning to a height no greater than body height plus an arms extension from floor level. Requirements: Previous experience in a cleaning role, and knowledge of H&S legislations / COSHH is preferable but not essential. This role requires flexibility as you will be working 6pm – 6am on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
