Our client is a successful and growing global asset manager. They are hiring a Corporate Communications Manager. Key responsibilities include: Develop and deliver a media relations strategy to promote our client's brand and reputation. Manage relationships with PR agencies. Establish and maintain a contact programme with key finance journalists and thought opinion leaders. Help to draft and edit press releases, articles, commentaries, social media posts and other PR and investment content to the highest standard and with a creative flair. Work with key stakeholders to help identify opportunities and create engaging content for external media channels. Carry out research on topics and gather information from a wide range of internal and external sources to identify news stories and news angles. Manage media enquiries including the supply of standard communication content and/or escalate enquiries. Host media interviews and brief spokespeople in advance, and help select and coach media spokespeople. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, possess proven media relations or financial journalism experience, working knowledge of the asset management industry, excellent writing/editing and stakeholder management skills, a keen interest in financial markets and the ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
