As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. This role will cover the Midlands region and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the business growth plans. Key Responsibilities: Business Development : Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across the Midlands area, building relationships with customers across a wide range of sectors to include; construction, industrial and logistics. Account Management : Manage and grow existing client accounts by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets. Market Knowledge : Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth. Collaboration : Work closely with the team to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction. Reporting : Prepare and present sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance metrics to management team. What We’re Looking For: Proven Sales Experience: A strong track record in B2B sales, preferably within the powered access equipment, plant hire, or construction equipment industries. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of powered access equipment and associated applications is a significant advantage. Results-Oriented: A self-starter with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Geographic Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively across the Midlands area to meet clients and attend events. Driving License: A full, clean driving license is essential. What's On Offer?
