Role Overview: As the Jacques Marie Mage Optician, reporting to the Gallery Director, you are an Optician, you are a reflection of the brand at the highest level of direct client engagement. The aim is to create an escape from the mundane and welcome clients into the unique and intentional world of Jacques Marie Mage. As the Optician you exude confidence and know how. You lead the client engagement with intention to best suit their medical requirements and needs. Through the delivery of the client experience and storytelling you will ensure each client leaves our Galleries in awe remembering the way we made them feel. Now that they have a dedicated point of contact, each client should leave with a sense of trust and excitement yearning to return again. Your responsibilities are – but are not limited to: Key Responsibilities: Achieve sales targets through consistent delivery of the Client Experience Storytell to submerge the client into the unique and intentional world of JMM Act with intention to go above and beyond to deliver the best client experience Adhere to Policy and Procedures OPTICAL EXCELLENCE Fulfill, process, and communicate all orders to the external lab and ensure we deliver on lead times Execute flawless accuracy in taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear Ensure best in class optical service and experience Assist clients in choosing the best frames and lenses based on their prescription needs Ability to accurately assess and adjust all repairs for JMM frames TEAM DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING Consistently provide optical elevation, training, and support for Gallery team Ensure optical sales and benchmarks are met CLIENT EXPERIENCE Consistently achieve individual sales targets Establish and maintain a strong client book >30% appointments Consistently achieve KPI’s Key Requirements: Licensed Optician Experience mounting and edging lenses Experience buffing and polishing is a plus 2-4 years experience working in optician environment Must be extremely organized with great attention to detail Ability to multitask - working cross functionally with the Lab, Customer Service, etc. Highly motivated and passionate about the JMM brand Strong customer service skills (communicator & listener) Additional information : Jacques Marie Mage is a company that respects the uniqueness of each employee and offers everyone the means to find their place and thrive.
