Job Summary:
We are seeking a Site Surveyor / Project Manager to oversee the surveying, planning, and execution of our security door and industrial door installation projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong project management skills, and the ability to liaise with clients and installation teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct detailed site surveys, assessing requirements for security doors, roller shutters, and other security products.
2. Prepare accurate measurements, technical specifications, and installation plans.
3. Manage projects from initial survey through to completion, ensuring smooth coordination between clients, suppliers, and installation teams.
4. Work closely with clients to understand their security needs and provide expert recommendations.
5. Oversee health and safety compliance on-site, ensuring all work adheres to industry regulations and SDS standards.
6. Schedule and coordinate installation teams, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
7. Monitor project progress, troubleshoot potential issues, and provide solutions to keep projects on track.
8. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and exceptional service.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Site Surveyor, Project Manager, or similar role in the security door, industrial door, or construction industry (previous sector experience is desired).
2. Strong understanding of security door systems, roller shutters, security grilles, and fencing.
3. Excellent technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
4. Strong project management and organisational skills.
5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to construction and installation.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Full UK driving licence (essential).
