We are now recruiting for an experienced Stores and Despatch Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and continuing to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance As our Stores and Despatch Supervisor you will be responsible for: Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, despatching and assuring quality of goods Measure and report the effectiveness of stores activities and employees performance Organise and maintain inventory and storage area Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy Communicate job expectations and coach employees, building a strong team Determine staffing levels and assign workload Interface with other departments to answer questions or solve problems Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project Stores status Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices Maintain health and safety standards In order to be successful in this role you must have / be: Proven experience as a Stores Supervisor Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques Knowledge of stores software packages and MS office proficiency Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data Hands-on commitment to getting the job done Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations Strong organizational and time management skills Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or business administration Driving licence If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on APPLY today No agencies please.
