Northern Skills are recruiting on behalf of CSG Limited who are looking for a hardworking, motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join their team. During the course of this apprenticeship, you will be learning the role of a business administrator while also gaining a qualification.
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Provide administrative support to the depot operations: answering telephones, responding to emails, filing paperwork, raising paperwork for incoming loads, booking transport for collections, and sending paperwork to customers along with details of when the collection will take place.
* Confirm customers’ orders to raise invoices and process purchase invoices.
* Order stationery and consumables.
* Input data into CSG’s in-house computer databases and other administrative computer systems.
* Produce customer reports for the Quarterly Hazardous Waste Returns.
* Create reports on CRM System to show monthly customer spend.
* Create reports to analyze how long ago we have collected a certain waste stream from a customer.
* Attend sales meetings and take minutes.
* Process Sales and Purchase Invoices.
* Liaise with operational staff and other departments and depots within CSG to ensure information is accurately and quickly shared.
* Demonstrate admin systems to other departments.

* Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation to write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyze data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages.
* Produces accurate records and documents including emails, letters, files, payments, reports, and proposals. Makes recommendations for improvements and presents solutions to management.
* Exercises proactivity and good judgement. Makes effective decisions based on sound reasoning and deals with challenges maturely.
* Builds and maintains positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation.
* Demonstrates good communication skills, whether face-to-face, on the telephone, in writing, or on digital platforms.

* Uses relevant project management principles and tools to scope, plan, monitor, and report.
