Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, Bromley Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £100 Per day Benefits: PAYE Job Duties: Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in classroom activities Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN Helping students to develop their social and communication skills Assisting with personal care and hygiene needs of students, if required Supporting students in accessing the curriculum and adapting materials as necessary Required Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent Experience working with children or young people with SEN Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Education: GCSEs in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN and the impact on learning and development Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures related to SEN Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools First aid certification Working Conditions: Work primarily takes place within a school environment May involve some physical activities such as assisting with student mobility Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
