Health Safety & Environmental Manager

Yolk Recruitment is excited to support this opportunity for an experienced HSE Manager to join the senior leadership team at a company with over 50 years of technical expertise and a robust growth plan. You will be able to make meaningful impact on safety, sustainability, and operational success in an innovative industry.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading all Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives across the business. You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance, promoting a culture of safety, and driving environmental improvement programs - all while collaborating with a highly experienced management team.
Key responsibilities:
1. Plan and coordinate internal and external audits to maintain compliance and renew certifications.
2. Lead investigations into health and safety incidents, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented and reported.
3. Manage HSE risk assessments, safety inspections, and compliance reporting.
4. Deliver impactful HSE training programs, including inductions and regular refreshers.
5. Chair the Health and Safety committee and actively participate in senior management meetings.
6. Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align and execute the company's HSE strategy.
7. Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure the department meets and exceeds business objectives.
8. Drive initiatives in energy management, carbon neutrality, and waste reduction.

1. Experience working within a senior EHS role.
2. Exposure to ISO 45001 and 4001.
3. Excellent communication skills.
