They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team, ensuring the financial and contractual success of their projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports. Oversee the measurement and valuation of works, including subcontractor valuations. Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering to maximize efficiency. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of interim valuations and final accounts. Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts. Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding procurement and financial reporting. Provide support to the site and project teams on contractual and commercial matters. Assist in preparing tenders and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the civil engineering or infrastructure sectors. Strong understanding of construction contracts, particularly NEC and JCT forms. Excellent numeracy, analytical, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Excel and industry-specific tools. A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Membership of a professional body, such as RICS or CIOB, is advantageous. Why Join?
