We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our clients friendly busy finance department, based in Princes Risborough. The finance department prides themselves on be providing a high standard of service both internally and externally through the administration of the purchase ledger system and sales ledger system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure purchase ledger entries are current and accurate.
* Process payments promptly and within business terms.
* Maintain up-to-date and accurate purchase order administration.
* Verify all purchases are properly authorised.
* Keep sales ledger entries current and accurate.
* Issue refunds and credit notes following proper authorisation procedures
* Maintain complete and compliant files in line with legislative and audit requirements.
Skills:
* Experience in maintaining sales ledgers and purchase ledgers
* Cashbook/bank reconciliation experience (desirable)
* Proficient in PC skills including Word and Excel
* Strong numeracy skills
