Bookkeeper (Part Time) - Overview
We are working with a successful Renewable Energy company based in Stretford area of Manchester who are looking for a Bookkeeper/ Accounts Assistant to join the team on a part time basis, helping to deal with their accounting, payroll and invoicing requirements.
The company have been operating for over 20 years and have grown to 20 full time employees and circa 30 Sub Contract staff. They install renewable energy systems into domestic properties, often utilising sub contract labour to carry out their installations. Currently, the Directors deal with the accountancy and bookkeeping side of the business but would like to have a dedicated Accounts Assistant to take on this role instead. The role would include:
1. Accurate Data entry of all purchase invoices and raising of all sales invoices using accounting Software XERO.
2. Liaising with Suppliers and Customers regarding any queries.
3. Credit control.
4. Producing weekly reports for Director of all aged payables and aged receivables.
5. Accurate data recording of all CIS due and VAT.
6. Reconciliation of Bank Account.
7. Taking Accounts to Trial Balance.
8. Checking Suppliers evidence for payment.
Their ideal working pattern would be 3 days per week from 08:00am-15:30pm. Friday is mandatory for payment runs however the other two days can be flexible.
Bookkeeper (Part Time) - Requirements
1. Full working knowledge of XERO Accounting Software.
2. Full Understanding of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
3. Excellent IT Skills especially MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
4. Maintain confidentiality of all accounting data.
5. Knowledge of SIMpro or similar Job Management Software - (Advantageous but if not, training will be given).
6. Knowledge of Payroll.
Bookkeeper (Part Time) - Salary & Remuneration
1. Salary of £25,000 - £32,000 (Pro Rata'd), flexibility based on experience level.
2. Private Healthcare.
3. Ongoing training & progression.
4. 28 Days + BH.
5. Sick Pay.
6. Pension.
