Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in implementing the firms BD strategy, working closely with senior stakeholders to develop work winning strategies and client initiatives. This is a varied role that will require the successful candidate to work strategically and tactically. The remit includes:
* End to end management of high value pitch projects, from initial draft to post pitch feedback. Working closely with partners and fee earners to develop bespoke content, provide coaching and mentoring on client presentations and sharing lessons learnt post project.
* Undertaking extensive client and market research, sharing insights and key information to support client targeting initiatives.
* Coordinate client events.
* Analyse client relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities. Manage the key client programme.
* Provide direction, advice, and coaching to fee earners on business development activities and best practice.
Requirements:
* Educated to degree standard or equivalent.
* Experience in developing new business opportunities, gained in a professional services environment.
* Keen interest in the real estate sector.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of building relationships with stakeholders and clients.
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Strong planning and organisational skills.
