Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Denbighshire Council, Adults Complex Disabilities Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team.
The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
Responsibilities include:
1. Seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to the position of Occupational Therapist within the Complex Disabilities Team working with children, adults with a Learning Disability, Acquired Brain Injury, and/or Autism within a social services setting.
2. Work within a team of health colleagues, therapists, social workers, and support staff.
3. Undertake assessments of need, identify techniques, equipment, and adaptations to enable individuals and their families to overcome the effects of disability and achieve realistic and desirable objectives in everyday activities with a focus on Occupational Performance.
4. Commitment to working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Drive, energy, and self-motivation to prioritize and manage own workload.
5. 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation).
6. 2 Month Temporary Contract.
7. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance.

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
