We currently seek a flexible and motivated individual to work as a Bank Reporting Sonographer in our busy Ultrasound department. The service is located within Radiology at each of our sites. We perform a wide range of Ultrasound investigations.
Applicants must be a Registered Health Professional with an appropriate post graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound and evidence of relevant experience. There may be a requirement to work flexible hours to meet service demands.

Main duties of the job
You must possess excellent communication skills, be tactful, diplomatic and able to work as part of a team in this busy department. In addition, you may be involved in the supervision of student radiographers.

* Degree or equivalent diploma
* Case Accredited post graduate certificate or diploma at masters level in Ultrasound
* HCPC, RCT or registration with relevant professional body eg:NMC, RCN, RCM
* Sound Professional knowledge of imaging modalities (Eg ANC/TV scanning, Non-obstetric scanning)
* Evidence of current CPD portfolio

* Highly specialist training in aspects of ultrasound
* Developed knowledge of a specialised ultrasound imaging e.g. Small parts or vascular
Experience

* Post registration professional experience in a diagnostic ultrasound imaging

* Experience with digital/PACS enabled ultrasound equipment.
