Job description The Opportunity: 3.5T Driver Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 Location: Wandsworth, Moving to Mitcham soon Our client is looking for a 3.5T Driver with Tool Hire delivery experinence to join a well-established and reputable business in Horsham thats expanding its team As a Driver you will be expected to Safely and efficiently operate a our delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items Plan routes and navigate to destinations using GPS or maps Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods on time and in a professional manner Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any issues or changes in delivery schedules Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm NO WEEKENDS Skills: Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably multi-drop of heavy goods. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations Strong time management and organisational skills to ensure timely deliveries Ability to work independently and make decisions on the road Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of goods and perform repetitive tasks
