As a result of its strategic expansion, this newly-created role has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join its hugely successful team. Our client operates in over 20 countries and is renowned as a world-leader within its chosen markets. The company arranges insurance for some of the most fascinating risks on the planet, and has a reputation for excellence, innovation and formidable customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage broker partnerships including overseeing account plans, building pipelines, and driving growth.
2. Seek new partner Network member brokers.
3. Collaborate with Network business development teams and internal stakeholders.
4. Conduct regular development meetings (both face to face and virtually).
5. Attend networking events and conferences.
6. Promote market-leading specialist insurance products across various lines.
7. Be involved with the roll-out of new products and propositions.
Requirements:
1. Commercial insurance knowledge (any product background will be considered).
2. Experience in a Business Development role within the insurance industry.
3. Motivated, engaging, and passionate about business development.
While this role will be predominantly home-based, you can report into either our client’s Leeds, Manchester, or Birmingham office. Given the nature of your insurance broker panel, there is not a huge amount of travelling with this role; typically, you’ll be ‘on the road’ a couple of days a week.
