The BCU is a global function of the 1st Line of Defence (1LoD) responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the non-financial risk framework (NFR). The team interfaces between the 2nd and 3rd Line of Defence, Divisional Control Office (DCO) Functions and the Regulators for 1LOD concerns.
The FIC division spans multiple products and markets including Global Foreign Exchange (GFX), Rates, Global Financing and Credit Trading (GFCT), Global Emerging Markets (GEM), Counterparty Portfolio Management and Cross Product Structuring.
You will manage the FIC BCU Risk and Control team and support the FIC businesses to complete the global annual Risk & Controls Assessment (RCA) and monthly dynamic RCA, and oversight of key Non-Financial risk metrics.

Your key responsibilities:
* Responsible for two direct reports in London, and a direct report in India who runs a team of 7 RCA BCUs.
* Develop and execute a target operating model for key operational processes, including RCA execution, and other NFR topics, including execution of a new RCA team run offshore in India to create a center of excellence for NFR process, automation, and data analytics.
* Participate and/or lead in Global/regional NFR projects & initiatives on the back of regulatory developments or policy changes.
* Identification of gaps in risk remediations, Emerging Risks and Control Gaps, escalate with Senior business heads and ensure robust remediation.
* Participate/Run NFR Governance Meetings and drive RCA with relevant stakeholders to ensure factual projection of correct risk rating and risk statements, manage the information need of senior management as well as external stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision making.
* Play a proactive role in further developing FIC BCU sharing and developing best practices on business process and multi-initiative management.
Your skills and experience:
* Investment Banking experience, preferably within Front Office and with exposure to Compliance, Non-Financial Risk, and Audit functions.
* Experience and understanding in Non-Financial Risk management and assessment process, preferably with knowledge of FIC products.
* Strong project management skills and the ability to co-ordinate and drive change across multiple stakeholders and effectively liaise with all supporting functions.
* Excellent analytical capabilities and conceptual thinking with aptitude in decision-making & problem solving.
* Highly motivated to drive change, self-reliant and structured way of working with high willingness to take responsibility.
* PowerPoint skills essential, Excel beneficial, AI abilities would add value to the role.
