The Company: A well established but growth focussed, MSP based in Leigh, Greater Manchester delivering IT solutions and support to a wide range of clients. Looking to add a support engineer who wants to grow their career in a fast-paced MSP environment. The Opportunity: This opportunity is for a 1st line support engineer, reporting into the lead cloud engineer. This role is a hybrid position, mostly remote but in the office every other Thursday for some team time. We are looking for a confident self starter who has experience in a similar role in an MSP. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a 1st line support or similar IT support role within a managed services or corporate environment. Familiarity with helpdesk management tools and remote support technologies. Working knowledge of the following areas would be beneficial but not essential Microsoft Office 365 suite Windows Server environments Active Directory Basic networking principles (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Microsoft Intune Virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. A proactive approach to learning new technologies and processes. Desirable Qualifications: Microsoft certifications CompTIA certifications (e.g., A, Network). ITIL Foundation certification.
