A well-established and respected civil engineering company is seeking a dedicated and organised Document Controller to join their dynamic team at their Kilsyth office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience in document management to contribute to a highly successful organisation, working on a variety of exciting projects across the UK.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the organisation and management of all project documentation, ensuring it is accurately logged, stored, and easily accessible.
Coordinate the distribution of project documents to relevant stakeholders.
Maintain document control systems, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external requirements.
Liaise with project teams to ensure documents are updated and reviewed regularly.
Ensure proper version control and file management processes are adhered to.
Provide support for project managers and team members regarding documentation queries.
Assist in the preparation and submission of project documentation to clients, subcontractors, and authorities.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a document control role within the construction or engineering sector.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Familiarity with document management systems and MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations would be advantageous.
