We are looking for a Category Manager for our Plumb Centre brand, based in our Warwick office 3 days a week ( 2 days remote ) reporting into one of a Senior Category Managers.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Driving the strategy on a range of products, responsible for all category supplier terms negotiations.
2. Analysing data to understand trends and identify opportunities.
3. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and have a strategic and proactive approach to managing the supply base, whilst understanding the customers' needs.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
4. Sourcing experience is essential along with Category Management ideally within a retail or merchant environment or similar.
5. Able to influence key stakeholders at a range of different levels.
6. Experience of developing, planning, and executing a Category strategy.
7. Analytical skills to interpret complex information about market changes and competitor activity.
8. Confident in negotiating supplier terms.
